How many letters in Graduate?

While I won’t be celebrating in person, I’d still love to share this moment with you. I know it’s the holidays, so please don’t feel any pressure, but if you’d like to show support, I’d be so grateful for a small donation toward my business.

After years of hard work, I’m proud to share that I’ve earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Southern New Hampshire University!

My degree is more than a milestone, it’s a stepping stone toward my passion of creating accessible care and community for women and families. Through my work as a birth & postpartum doula and founder of Sprouting Kare, I’m blending communication, advocacy, and care to support women through every season of life.

Graduation Q&A

— From Ari

  • Yes! I officially earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Southern New Hampshire University this fall. The in-person ceremony was on November 21st, but I wasn’t able to attend because one of my doula clients was due and when you’re on call for a birth, you can’t exactly hop on a plane!

(Baby Girl was born Nov. 13th, at 7am!")

  • A doula is someone who provides emotional, physical, and informational support to families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I don’t deliver babies, that’s the doctor or midwife’s job! My role is to guide, comfort, and empower families so they feel confident and cared for every step of the way.

  • Sprouting Kare is my women-focused community space and the heart of my work. It’s a place where I combine birth support with community care. Offering resources, gatherings, and education for women and caregivers in every stage of life.

  • My Communications degree allows me to build connections, advocate for families, and grow Sprouting Kare’s impact. I’m using what I learned to elevate birth work, tell powerful stories, and create more accessible spaces for women and families.

  • Not this time! I’m not celebrating in person, but I’d love for you to join my virtual graduation ceremony and celebrate with me online. If you’d like to support, I’d be so grateful for a donation toward my business, Sprouting Kare, to help me continue this work.
